CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGNS

Thank you for everyone who helped us with our Crowdfunder Campaign in 2019, we raised £2,650 which will be put towards the costs associated with applying for the next round of Heritage Lottery Funding. The Crowdfunding Campaign finished in April 2019 but we are always very grateful for donations, see below for other ways you can give to help restore the Derby Hippodrome. We may well run another Crowdfunding Campaign in the near future, watch this space!

WHY We Need Your Help

The Derby Hippodrome Restoration Trust is a group of ardent theatre lovers which include architects, engineers, theatrical experts, academics and local politicians. Our objective is to restore the currently derelict Edwardian theatre to its former glory as a fully functional performance venue fit for the 21st Century.  Our current activities focus around working with different stakeholders to bring the building under the Trust's ownership so that stabilisation and restoration work can commence.

With the help of Derby City Council, we funded an independent feasibility report and are approaching potential backers to consider our proposal. We have already had success with the Architectural Heritage Fund and the Heritage Lottery Fund. We are currently actively working with the Heritage Lottery Fund in order to progress the phase one restoration.

Now we need your help. Your donations will help us allow us to access professional services such as lawyers, architects, construction engineers as well as providing the resources necessary for match funding. Please contact our treasurer to find out more derbyhippodrometrust@gmail.com

Thank You!

The Derby Hippodrome Restoration Trust is a registered charity - Registered Charity No. 1137707
